Unrest. Three versions. One night.

[FINAL UPDATE, 15-July: Thanks to everyone for the comments, especially Tim and Mark.  I'll put my thoughts/review in a new post, since this is really a separate item. For my part, hopefully this is the kick in the rear I need to write more frequently and be a part of more musical discussions going forward...]

It's now Monday morning, and I'm still awestruck and blissed out at what I experienced this past Saturday evening... not only an Unrest reunion of the 1991-94 lineup (Mark Robinson, Phil Krauth, Bridget Cross), but two shorter sets of the 1984-86 lineup (Mark, Phil, Tim Moran) and 1988-1990 lineup (Mark, Phi, Dave Park). I'll try to comment more later, but wanted to get the set lists posted/memorialized for future reference.

+ Holidays in Berlin & Malcolm X Park!

Oh! My dude figured it out - they didn't play Click Click (you're probably thinking of Malcolm X Park)? and Holidays in Berlin is the instrumental thing you couldn't place.

Hi, the second song for Unrest 1.0 is actually called "Solid State". I think some of the MP3 versions of the Twister cassette have some of the track numbers shifted by one number, so it looks like it is the next track instead, called "Oily". This site has a sample of "Solid State".

The first song is called "Holiday in Berlin, Part 2". I'm not sure if the Part 1 was ever recorded.

I really appreciate all the people who came for this show!

Tim, thanks for playing the show, and for taking the time to wander over here with corrections.

Someone will have to take up the Twister CD-R tracklisting issue with Gracenote -- I went with what automatically showed up, rather than tracking against the J-card.

[UPDATE: It turns out that Gracenote has no entries for the outros to each side of the cassette. Thpppt. I've marked my copy of the CD-R appropriately.]

1.0
"Sweet Wakefield" didn't happen because Tajinder Chadha didn't show.

"Holiday in Berlin, part one" is on the first UNREST cassette (now on CD). Teen-Beat number 2.

3.0
"[quick instrumental gtr bit]" is "Plastic Film" from PERFECT TEETH (7" box set).

I loved the show so much, but the pacing was so weird - 3.0 came out and Bridget set up while Mark played a couple of rarities, and then a couple of 3.0 classics BEFORE Mark says "We're Unrest from Washington DC", and then immediately after Suki, a halting cover that had all but the diehard Factory lovers scratching their heads.
There also seemed to be a mass exodus near the front during Cherry Cherry; mostly younger kids. Was it Metro time, or were they thinking, "Didn't they play this one already?" Their loss.
